Ripple's on-ledger escrow holds 32.14B XRP (32.1% of the fixed 100B supply), summed directly from live Escrow objects on the XRP Ledger, with a further 4.74B XRP in operational wallets. The next scheduled unlock window opens September 1, 2026 — up to 1B XRP, with unused amounts historically re-locked.
Exchanges
Publicly attributed exchange wallets hold 15.65B XRP, a net change of −16.7M XRP across tracked wallets this week. This is a verified floor — only attributable wallets are counted, each listed on the radar.
RLUSD and tokenized RWA
RLUSD stands at $1.59B — $855M (54%) on the XRP Ledger vs $735M on Ethereum. Tokenized real-world assets on the XRP Ledger total $313M of distributed, transferable investor float, alongside $4.06B of platform-locked registry notionals (values self-reported by the issuing platforms; token counts verified on-chain). The distinction matters: distributed value can move wallet-to-wallet; represented value uses the ledger as a recordkeeping layer.
How we verify
Escrow is summed from Escrow objects on the XRP Ledger via rippled. ETF holdings come from each issuer's own website. Exchange balances are read from attributed XRPL wallets. RWA token supplies are verified with gateway_balances on each issuer's address; RLUSD combines the XRPL issuer reading with the Ethereum contract's totalSupply. No third-party aggregators.
